Safety & Work Environment Policy

Effective Date: December 29, 2025

Company: Wardright LLC

1. Commitment to Safety

At Wardright LLC, the safety of our technicians and our clients is our top priority. We are committed to maintaining a work environment that is free from recognized hazards. This policy outlines the standards required to perform our installation and technology assistance services safely and effectively.

2. Right to Refuse Service

Wardright LLC technicians are authorized to "Stop Work" immediately if they identify any condition that poses an immediate threat to their health or safety. The technician on-site has the final discretion to determine if a job can be completed safely.

If a job is halted due to safety concerns that were not disclosed prior to the appointment, or due to negligence on the part of the client, standard cancellation or trip fees may apply.

3. Site Accessibility & Structural Integrity

To perform installations (including wall fishing, mounting, and satellite setup), the work area must be accessible and structurally sound.

  • Clear Access: The area where equipment is to be installed (e.g., server racks, TV mounts, modem locations) must be cleared of furniture and personal items prior to the technician's arrival.
  • Attics & Crawlspaces: Technicians will not enter attics or crawlspaces that are deemed unstable, lack proper flooring/support, have evidence of pest infestation, or pose a risk of heat exhaustion.
  • Heights & Roofing: For Starlink and antenna installations, technicians will not ascend roofs with a pitch greater than standard safety limits or roofs that show signs of rot or damage.

4. Weather Restrictions

For exterior work (such as Starlink, Ring floodlights, or outdoor cabling), Wardright LLC reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to inclement weather. We will not perform exterior work during:

  • Lightning storms or thunder.
  • Heavy rain or hail.
  • High winds.
  • Icy or slippery roof conditions.
  • Extreme heat advisories (specifically for attic work).

5. Pet and Animal Policy

We love pets, but we require a safe workspace.

  • Restraint: All household pets (dogs, cats, etc.) must be secured in a separate room, crate, or outside the work area for the duration of the visit.
  • Aggressive Behavior: If a technician feels threatened by an unrestrained animal, they are instructed to leave the premises immediately. This will be classified as a "Client Preventable Cancellation," and the $50 deposit/trip fee will be forfeited.

6. Personal Conduct & Harassment

Wardright LLC maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding harassment. We will not tolerate verbal abuse, threats, sexual harassment, or discrimination of any kind towards our staff.

  • Technicians are instructed to leave immediately if they are subjected to hostile behavior.
  • Such incidents will result in an immediate termination of the service contract and a permanent ban from future services.

7. Health & Sanitation

Technicians will not work in environments with:

  • Active pest infestations (fleas, bed bugs, roaches, rodents).
  • Presence of hazardous materials (asbestos, exposed raw sewage, mold).
  • Second-hand smoke or illicit drug use during the appointment.

8. Client Responsibilities

By booking an appointment with Wardright LLC, the client agrees to:

  1. Disclose any known hazards prior to the appointment.
  2. Ensure an adult (18+) is present for the duration of the service.
  3. Provide a safe, lighted, and sanitary workspace.
